Wow, our families must reeeeally love us because we just got three more packages! You have no idea how happy these make us!
In case anyone else out there is planning to send something, our wish list has changed a bit. I'll post it below. Just a note, the last few items are because I saw my friend Matt open a package from his parents and it was filled with delicious looking "man snacks." He swears that the best snack in the world are something called "Pizzeria Pretzel Combos," or something like that. Ashlee says sending those won't be necessary. I beg to differ.
- DVD's (Does anyone have 30 Rock?)
- Theraflu (any and all formulations) -- especially the Nighttime kind, cold season is upon us!
- Ranch and Italian dip/dressing MIXES (or similar things)
- Lipton onion soup mix
- Taco (or other ethnic) seasoning packets
- Easy recipes
- Canned chicken or Tyson Quick 'N Easy Chicken Breast Diced (basically cooked chicken in a bag)
- Oreos (regular for Ashlee & double-stuffed for Scott)
- Tortillas
- Refried beans
- Velveeta cheese
- Christmas fix-in's (decorations, stockings, pie filling)
- Letters
- Dijon mustard (in a PLASTIC bottle)
- Dried or canned beans (especially pinto)
- La Victoria Taco Sauce (again, I think it comes in a PLASTIC bottle now)
- Salsa (does this come in PLASTIC?)
- Salsa seasoning packets
- "Teacher" supplies (like posters you might see in Kindergarten classes with the alphabet and other useful learning aides)
- Hot Cider (in a packet)
- Hot Chocolate packets (Swiss Miss/Nestle/Carnation/whatever)
- Dental Floss (the kind PC issued us feels like twine)
- 2010 Weekly/Monthly Planner (see the Amazon wish list)
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Lonely Planet: Thailand (it's a travel book -- we're thinking that after a harsh Mongolian winter, we're going to need to spend some time on a Thai beach)
- Granola bars
- Trail mix
- Starbucks Instant Coffee
- Triscuit (sp) Crackers
- Cheez Whiz / Easy Cheese
- Beef Jerky
- Canned Dip (i.e. Frito's Bean Dip, Jalapeno Cheese Dip, etc.)
- Pretzels (esp. Snyder of Hanover's Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces)
